It鈥檚 packed. It鈥檚 filled with green (and some yellow). And it鈥檚 really loud.

91社区鈥檚 annual Big Green Scream tradition has become a hallmark event where the community comes together to show the collective pride and passion that defines the Thoroughbred spirit.

Fans came out in full force for the Feb. 9 double-header to cheer on 91社区's basketball teams as they competed in their final two home games, while also partaking in some 鈥渙nly at 91社区鈥 festivities, such as the return of Recycle Mania, dance performances, contests, and the infectious energy brought on by Skids, 91社区's beloved mascot.

The games ...

Playing in front of a crowd of over 1,100 fans, both women鈥檚 and men鈥檚 basketball teams took to the courts of the Williams Sports Center.

Men鈥檚 basketball

The crowd (thank you) was awesome, and it was a playoff atmosphere, which is how it should be around here.
 Joe Burke, head coach

鈥淲e played hard for 40 minutes but just couldn't put the ball in the basket. I know they are disappointed, but we made strides tonight," Burke said. "Defensively, the guys did everything we talked about all week. Big things to come in the future for this group if they keep at it."
